Staying off Social Media
Social media now a days, is becoming so toxic and scary for people. Little ones have phones and they are seeing what is going on and seeing scary stuff. It’s a place where people can’t express how they even feel if they have no one to even go to. We can’t even express our opinions without being degraded and laughed at. It turns into cyber bullying, and the whole thing is just a dark dark place. And it will never change. There will always be negativity on the internet and it will never ever go away. That’s why taking a break from all platforms of social media is a good idea every now and again. Why is it good to take breaks from social media once in a while? Well, you need to reconnect with the real world. It’s good to plug into the real places and real people that you see everyday, instead of plugging into social media. Finding time to see your friends and family in real life has so much more of a real connection than just sending them messages. Spending time together, keeps the human contact alive and helps fight loneliness. And, instead of just, scrolling through a newsfeed, of people accomplishing their goals, while you’re just sitting and laying around, you could also be out there, exploring, going to the gym to get that perfect body that you want. Take the time to get a head start on your future tasks and be productive with YOUR life and do great things instead of sitting around, watching others on social media accomplishing their goals. Social media today, affects your health in many ways, and it also tends to give you a lot of anxiety. Spending less time on your phone can reduce your mental health concerns and will dramatically improve your sleeping habits. With these three tips of why you should step away, you should be able to take time to step back from all these platforms of social media, even if it’s just for a short period of time. You will notice SO many great benefits and feel so much more relaxed!
